Here’s how the Foreclosure Forecaster works:
- Create a user profile. When you become a PlanToForeclose.com client, you’ll get a username and password so you can log in to Foreclosure Forecaster.
- Add an event. “Events” are missed payments, conversations with lenders, legal notices and more. You can enter the date of the event and any personal notes related to it. Add as many events as you like.
- See events on a timeline. You will see all of the events you added graphically displayed as blue dots on the Forecaster timeline. When you mouse over the dots, you will see the detail you entered for each event. The magnifying glass tools let you zoom in and out to see more events at one time. The slider lets you look months and years behind and ahead.
- See your estimated Move-Out date. The Estimated Move-Out date is automatically displayed on the Foreclosure Forecaster. Every time you add or edit events, the Foreclosure Forecaster recalculates your most accurate move out date for you. As the foreclosure process proceeds and more dates are entered, the firmer the Move-Out date becomes. The Foreclosure Forecaster takes into account the laws in your state, law firm backlogs and how efficiently your foreclosure is being processed in order to calculate with the greatest possible level of accuracy how much time you’ll be able to stay in your home.
The Foreclosure Forecaster is designed using PlanToForeclose.com’s proprietary information and technology. It is available only to clients of PlanToForeclose.com.
